Tariff Response Funding

New federal funding for tariff-hit businesses. We handle the application.

You run the business. We do the paperwork.

Tariffs are eating into what you make. There is new federal funding for the project that fixes that.

Get up to a $1,000,000 grant, or up to a $10,000,000 interest-free loan. The grant covers half your project and is never paid back.

The program requires a full application, and it has to be complete. That is the paperwork we do every day.

Five quick taps tell you if you fit. Then we call you.

Five taps, no credit check, no obligation.

Who we work with

The Funding

Two kinds of funding. You pick one.

A grant

Never paid back.

$125,000 to $1,000,000. It covers up to half your project.

You cover the other half. A business can get this grant once.

The program covers up to 50%You cover at least 50%
  • $125,000 to $1,000,000
  • Once per business

Interest-free funding you pay back

Paid back on terms set when you are approved.

$125,000 to $10,000,000. It covers up to three quarters of your project.

You cover at least a quarter. No interest, and the payback terms are set in the agreement you sign.

The program covers up to 75%You cover at least 25%
  • $125,000 to $10,000,000
  • No interest, paid back over time

The program announces who it funds, and how much. Twenty-one businesses were announced in July and August 2026 alone.

Toward a $2.5M project, Etobicoke, August 2026

$502,200

$277,464

Half of a $555K project, Etobicoke, August 2026

$700,000

Toward a project worth more than $2.8M, August 2026

$7M+

Between two businesses in Lindsay, August 2026

$261,961 to $3.5M

Each, to thirteen businesses in the Niagara Region, July 2026

Those are real, announced projects. They are not an approval rate, an average, or a prediction for your file.

The government has said the grant limit goes up from $1 million to $3 million in September 2026. The details have not been published yet.

Applications are open today, and no deadline has been set.

What We Do For You

We build the application. You keep running the business.

The program says it straight: if the application is missing anything, it may not even get looked at.

So we build all of it with you, and we arrange the financing to go with it.

PMG Accounting and PFG

Your financials and forecast

PMG Accounting prepares the statements. We build the forecast and the budget.

The plan behind them comes from the team that has written 1,200+ business plans since 2010, so every table adds up.

PFG

Your tariff story, with proof

We show the damage instead of just saying it.

The numbers come from your books and the proof from your records, written so the impact is clear.

PFG

The application, start to finish

We draft the answers with you and assemble every attachment.

You read it, sign it, and send it in. If the program comes back with questions, we handle them.

PFG

Your share of the funding

Your part of the project has to be real funds the program can see.

Arranging that financing is what we have done since 2010, so your application can say confirmed, not requested.

More Than Paperwork

What you get from PFG that a form-filler cannot give you.

A grant writer hands you a document. We build the whole file and the financing behind it: the look at your numbers, the loan for your share, the accounting that backs it all, and the work after you are approved.

Advice, financing, and accounting, from one team, on one file.

A straight read on your numbers first

Before the program or any bank sees your file, we read it the way they will.

You hear what can be funded now and what needs fixing first. No hard credit check to get that answer.

The loan for your share, placed with the right bank

Your share has to be real funds on the day you apply.

We take your file to lenders who do government-backed loans, term loans, BDC, and credit lines every week. Banks pay us nothing, so our advice only works for you.

Your accountant under the same roof

The numbers in the application have to match the numbers in your books.

PMG Accounting handles the statements, bookkeeping, payroll, tax, and monthly reports, so everything comes from one set of books.

Help after the funding is approved

The program reimburses you for costs after you spend them, not up front.

It reimburses within 30 business days of a complete claim, by its own rule. We prepare the claims and the reports, and the next loan when you outgrow this one.

How It Works

From five taps to a finished application.

01

The screen

Five quick taps on the program’s own rules, then your name and number. No credit check, no obligation.

02

The call

We tell you which of the two streams fits, what the program would cover in your project, and where your share comes from. You leave with a list of what to gather.

03

The build

PMG Accounting does the financials. We do the rest of the application, and the loan for your share.

04

Send it in

You read it, sign it, and submit it. We handle the program’s follow-up questions, and once you are approved, the claims and the reports.

Before You Call

Four things owners ask first.

Why not just do it with my own accountant?

You can. The form is public. Applications get stuck on three things the form never warns you about: a forecast that does not match the budget, a tariff story with no proof behind it, and a share of the funding still marked requested instead of confirmed.

We have written 1,200+ business plans and arranged over $3 billion in financing since 2010. This is the same paperwork, just for a different reader.

What if I do not fit?

The five taps tell you in under a minute, and name the rule you miss.

Missing does not end the conversation. Tariffs are a cash problem first, and we look at that the same way we look at every file: what can be funded now, and what to fix first.

What does this cost me?

You pay PFG for the work. The program does not cover our fee.

You hear the price on the call, before anything starts. No bank and no government agency pays us, so our advice only works for you.

How long does it take, and what are my chances?

The program does not publish how long a decision takes. It promises to confirm it got your application within two business days, and that is all.

Nobody can promise you an approval, and we will not. What we control is a complete file, which is the one thing the program says matters. Our own record, 95 of our last 100 CSBFL loan applications approved, is history on another program, not a prediction for this one.

Program facts as published in August 2026.

Five taps. Then we call you.

Answer the program's five questions and leave your details. On the call we tell you which stream fits, what the program will want to see first, and where your share of the funding comes from.

One thing the program does not cover: our fee. You pay PFG for the work.
