About PFG

The firm on your side of the table.

PFG Financial is a commercial finance advisory built for business owners, not lenders. Since 2010 we have worked with more than 2,500 businesses across North America on funding, clean financials, and decisions backed by real numbers.

Two firms under one umbrella, four lanes: advisory, capital, accounting, and franchise. Many clients come for one service. They stay because we cover the rest.

The Structure

Two firms that work as one.

PFG is the advisory and capital side: we read files, prepare them the way lenders read them, and place them where they fit. PMG is the accounting side: the bookkeeping, payroll, tax, and reporting that decisions run on. They are two separate firms under one umbrella, run as one system since Lamar VanDusen founded PFG in 2010.

The structure is the point. Clean books feed a fundable file. The funded file grows the business, and the books keep it ready for the next round.

Most firms do one half and hand you off for the other. We built both halves so nothing gets lost in the handoff.

PFG Financial

The read, the plan, and the placement.

The read on your file, a plan when it is not ready, and placement with the lenders that fit when it is.

Government programs, lines of credit, acquisitions, refinancing, and a franchise practice that works both sides of the table.

PMG Accounting

The numbers the whole operation runs on.

Bookkeeping, payroll, corporate tax, and monthly reporting, CPA-led for over a decade.

The same team has built the 1,200+ CPA business plans the financing side stands on, and several franchise brands name PMG their official accounting partner.

The Method

Fifteen years of judgment, built into NExA.

Every engagement starts the same way: we read your file the way a lender’s credit team will, before any lender sees it. That read is NExA, and it carries the pattern of every file we have prepared since 2010.

The judgment does not live in one person’s head. It lives in the system and the practice that runs it, so you get the same careful read no matter who picks up your file.

That is what we mean when we say the firm is the advisor.

How We Charge

No lender can buy our recommendation.

Owners are right to be suspicious of intermediaries: the internet is full of warnings about brokers taking cuts from lenders, steering files for commissions, and charging fees up front for nothing. The cleanest answer we can give is our own structure, in writing, before you ask.

Lenders pay us nothing

Not commissions, not referral spreads, nothing. No lender can buy our recommendation, and the lender your file goes to is chosen on fit alone.

Your inquiry stays an inquiry

Reaching out does not put your file in circulation. Nothing leaves this firm until you authorize an application, and no list ever gets sold.

Advisory is quoted before it starts

Plans, CFO work, setup, and PMG’s accounting services are scoped and priced before work starts. No meters running quietly in the background.

You pay us, never the lender

When we place financing, the fee is named in writing before we submit, and it includes an upfront component, because no advisor controls the lending markets and we will not tie our whole fee to an outcome we do not own. You are the only party who ever pays us, which is the whole point.

The throughline is simple: you are the only party who pays us, so yours is the only outcome we are paid to protect. That is why every engagement starts with an honest read of the file.

And not yet is an answer we actually give.

The People

The team on the other end of the phone.

Small on purpose. The same short bench works every file, with the advisors who own each answer and PMG Accounting’s CPA team behind the numbers.

Who owns what while your file moves, the answer, the follow-through, the numbers, is laid out on the people page of the System.

R

Rita

Account Manager

An account manager is the voice on your file: the first call, the follow-ups, and the person who tells you what happens next before you have to ask.

C

Christa

Account Manager

Account managers keep the file moving on your side of it: what is needed, when it is needed, and never the same thing asked twice.

A

Ali

CPA, Financial Admin

The CPA eye on the financing side. Before a lender reads your numbers, someone qualified to challenge them already has.

F

Fizza

Financial Admin

Financial admins run the file itself: papers collected once, programs registered right, deadlines hit.

S

Sonia

Senior Financial Admin

The follow-through role: lender queries answered, the record kept current, nothing lost between steps.

M

Miguel

Head of Marketing

Head of marketing owns how owners find PFG in the first place: the site, what we publish, and where the firm shows up.

Where You Will Find Us

In the franchise rooms, not just the lending ones.

PFG sponsors the Elite Franchise 100 and contributes to Elite Franchise Magazine; we support the RBC Black Entrepreneur Group and show up at franchise events across North America. The firm runs from Mississauga, Ontario, and works with owners across Canada and the United States.

Put a file in front of us.

Whichever lane you start in, the first step is the same: an honest read of where the business stands and what it qualifies for.

Lenders pay us nothing. The only file our advice serves is yours.
