What We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us: your name, email, phone number, and business financial information shared voluntarily through our website forms or during an assessment consultation. We also collect this information indirectly when you use our website, through standard web analytics.

When you use the readiness check or our forms, we also record the answers you click (such as your industry, how long the business has run, and the amount you are exploring), the page or campaign that brought you here (UTM tags), and the consent boxes you check, together with the time you checked them. Canada’s anti-spam law requires us to keep that consent record.

Why We Collect It

We use your information to respond to your inquiries, prepare financing assessments, draft business plans and financial projections, submit applications on your behalf, and provide ongoing advisory services. We also use it to improve our website and communications.

Who We Share It With

We share your information with lenders only as part of a financing application that you authorize. We share it with PMG Accounting, a separate firm operating under one umbrella with PFG, when you engage accounting services or when financial information is necessary for advisory work. We share it with the service providers who run our website: the companies that host the site and its database, and the provider that delivers our confirmation emails. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

How We Protect It

We maintain reasonable safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, and destruction. Our website uses standard encryption for data transmission. Form submissions are stored in our own secured database, not with a third-party form vendor, and are accessed only by staff who need them to serve you.

One convenience to know about: if you move from the short contact form to the fuller pre-qualification, your name and contact details travel in the link so the second form arrives already filled in. That link works only on our own site, over an encrypted connection.

How Long We Keep It

We retain your information for as long as you are a client, plus seven years afterward, to comply with accounting and tax requirements. Inquiry information from our contact form is retained for two years unless you request deletion.

Your Rights

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to access, review, and request correction of your personal information.
